Mastering the Interview

Master the Interview – Develop grace under fire! And crush it!

Have you ever gone into an interview feeling totally prepared and feeling like you aced it, yet did not receive the offer?

Have you stumbled on the stories that help to tell who you are, what you offer and how you see the alignment of your strengths and experience?

Would you like be so prepared that you receive the offer of a lifetime?

Would you like an opportunity to reframe your current experiences to demonstrate how you are a great fit for the next step in your leadership?

What would it be like to have your portfolio of answers that address the leadership expectations of your next role?

What I offer is an opportunity to practice your interviewing skills using behavioral style interviews. Create stories that allow you to succinctly share how your experiences exceed the requirements of the job. Behavioral Interviewing has a selection of over 50 dimensions that you could potentially be asked to show how you reflect those capabilities. Through a series of questions we can determine your fit for the soft skills as well as the hard skills by asking you to tell a time ‘when”, and how and what. This is what we practice!

What is required is your resume, a job description of the position or leadership role you are preparing to assume. We schedule two 90 minute sessions to role play your interview.

MBA College Entrance Interview Prep

MBA – I have recently had the opportunity to conduct mock interviews for applicants to the top 10 MBA schools. Learning how to articulate your value, communicate your skills and why you want your MBA with greater ease will demonstrate how you are a great fit for this school. Some of the schools I have assisted others to prepare for their MBA include Stanford, Princeton, Tuck-Dartmouth, Duke-Fuqua, Wharton and Harvard.

My most recent success is with facilitating the interview process with a retired Navy Special Warfare Operator who landed a position based on his ability to convey his tranferrable skills to the requirements of the job. He did it with ease after coaching and role play practice.
